Sealskinz, the British brand known for outdoor and performance apparel, has opened its first permanent store at 1 Hinde Street in Marylebone Village. This opening follows the success of last year’s Christmas pop-up in the same location and marks a significant milestone for the company.

Situated in a prime location within The Howard de Walden Estate, the new store spans 1,000 square feet across two floors. The design captures the adventurous ethos of the brand, incorporating distinctive artwork and signature Sealskinz prints to create a unique shopping experience.

The store will feature the full range of Sealskinz products, including their popular waterproof accessories and the recently launched running collection. The space will also showcase Vitae, the brand’s performance-driven everyday wear line that blends style with practicality. With the store opening in winter, the timing aligns perfectly with demand for the brand’s waterproof and cold-weather gear.

Ray Kelvin, Founder of Ted Baker and Creative Director at Sealskinz, commented:
“After the success of the pop-up last year, it is great to have a permanent presence in the area. I don’t want this to be just another store but a hub for the entire Sealskinz community. I have lived and breathed retail my entire life and I intend to create something truly special. It’s good to be back.”

In addition to retail, the store aims to build community connections through events such as run clubs and adventure workshops, further expanding the Sealskinz community. These initiatives highlight the brand’s commitment to creating an interactive and inclusive space for outdoor enthusiasts.

The selection of Sealskinz for this prestigious Marylebone location followed a competitive process by The Howard de Walden Estate. Their permanent presence in one of London’s most sought-after retail destinations places Sealskinz among other premium brands in the area.
