Sephora has announced the opening date of its latest UK store at Bluewater Shopping Centre, set for 27 November. This new location will mark Sephora’s seventh store opening in the UK since its return in 2022, and will bring an expansive 4,593 sq ft retail space filled with exclusive beauty offerings and immersive in-store experiences. Timed to open just ahead of Black Friday and the Christmas shopping season, Sephora’s new Bluewater store will become a key destination for beauty enthusiasts in the South East.
James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, shared the excitement surrounding the launch, saying, “Since we announced that Sephora would be joining our brand line-up back in August, our guests have been eager to know the exact opening date. We are delighted to be able to share the official launch date with our community, and pleased that our guests will be able to visit the new store on their Black Friday and Christmas shopping trips. There is a real buzz around this opening, especially as the brand will bring multiple of the world’s most viral beauty brands to Bluewater for the first time.”
The new store offers a wide range of brands that have gained attention across social media and the beauty industry, from global names to innovative newcomers. Shoppers at Bluewater will have access to brands like Makeup by Mario, GXVE by Gwen Stefani, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, and the buzz-worthy new brand Topicals—all exclusive to Sephora UK. Customers can also shop popular items from Glossier, Rare Beauty, and Sephora’s own bestselling Sephora Collection, featuring skincare, makeup, and travel-friendly products.
Sephora’s immersive “beauty playground” experience is a key part of the Bluewater store, including a variety of in-store services. Beauty enthusiasts can book services with Sephora’s Beauty Advisors for anything from quick touch-ups to complete glam looks. Specialty services, including facials by Elemis, Dermalogica, and Seasonly, will be offered, along with brow expertise from Benefit’s BrowBar and hairstyling options by Dyson. These services aim to provide a comprehensive, interactive beauty experience for all visitors.
Sarah Boyd, Managing Director of Sephora UK, commented on the continued expansion, saying, “We are thrilled to continue this momentum of our rapid growth by opening Sephora stores in key shopping destinations such as the iconic Bluewater Shopping Centre. We have loved seeing the enthusiasm and appetite from our customers around the UK of where they would like us to show up, inspiring us to roll out more of our ‘beauty playgrounds’ and unparalleled shopping experiences to some of the nation’s most beloved retail destinations such as Bluewater.”
