This week Superdrug reveals the launch of a brand new Youtube campaign, packed with exclusive content,Superdrug TV in a continued move towards more digital platforms. Superdrug TV will launch on Youtube and be freely available, keeping people connected and entertained during these unprecedented times.
With a backdrop of a year of ongoing changes due to the Covid pandemic, Superdrug recognises the need for content that can react quickly to customer needs. Throughout this year, Youtube has emerged as a channel that provides easy accessible, long form content which connects communities and educates. To continue to provide content appropriate and relevant to customers, this year has seen Superdrug move many aspects of its marketing to online platforms, even creating a digital version of Dare magazine for the first time ever, to ensure it was accessible to all with many not visiting their high street during lockdown. During 2020, Superdrug has been continuing to provide daily content on social media channels, in a sustained bid to provide free, enjoyable content to customers during these unique times.
The Superdrug TV series launches with a bang on the 17th of November, with a further two bumper episodes appearing before Christmas and then a calendar of weekly episodes each Tuesday throughout 2021. Each episode will be 15 minutes long, offering audiences a bite sized look at the hottest topics and beauty launches each week. Superdrug TV will offer audiences an exclusive behind the scenes look at Superdrug, access all areas at events and intimate interviews with celebrity and influencer favourites.
Hosted by radio presenter and TV personality Daisy Maskell, the series will bring together social media stars including beauty guru Nadine Baggott and mum-fluencer Louise Pentland alongside sexpert Alix Fox and Superdrug health ambassador Dr Zoe Williams. Each episode in the series is sponsored by a customer favourite brand at Superdrug, with the Pilot episode in association with Lifebuoy. The Superdrug TV series is created by The River Group.
