Brands such as Fat Phill’s, Lucid Motors, and Fauchon have all identified the UK as a key target for expansion. Fauchon, the iconic French gourmet food retailer, is now focused on growing its footprint in the UK following the closure of its flagship store in Paris and all other French locations. The brand, known for its high-end pastries and luxury food items, is eager to re-establish its presence and reach new audiences in the vibrant UK market. This strategic pivot underscores the UK’s enduring appeal as a hub for premium international brands.

Francesco Pupillo, Director of MAPIC, stated: “The UK has always been a prime destination for ambitious international retailers due to its dynamic consumer base and established retail infrastructure. Our Cross-Border Retail Observatory highlights the renewed interest in the UK, and MAPIC serves as the ideal platform for brands to connect with key landlords, advisors, and partners to drive their expansion plans forward.”
