Fashion meets food this December as House of Sunny partners with east London’s Unlock to host the “House of Sunny Pizza Party!” in Hackney Wick. Running from 5–15 December 2024, the event promises to unite bold fashion, art, and gourmet pizza in a unique multi-sensory experience.
The collaboration transforms Unlock’s industrial-chic venue into a retro-inspired playground curated by House of Sunny, the cult UK fashion brand known for its sustainable and vibrant designs. Alongside exclusive menu items, visitors can shop a capsule collection available both in-store and online.
A Fusion of Fashion and Food
Founded in Hackney in 2011, House of Sunny has gained international recognition for its bold, sustainable clothing. Creative Director Sunny Williams explained the inspiration behind the collaboration:
“House of Sunny and Unlock share a deep passion for creativity, community, and bold aesthetics. Hackney is where it all began for us, so partnering with a local gem of a pizza joint like Unlock felt like the perfect way to bring this vision to life. Food, fashion, and art are universal forms of self-expression. We wanted to create a space that feels fun, welcoming, and inspiring—where you can also enjoy a slice of authentic Neapolitan pizza.”
Unlock, founded by Naples-born siblings Arianna and Giovanni Izzo, is celebrated for its creative Neapolitan-inspired cuisine and commitment to showcasing local art. Earlier this year, the restaurant gained international attention with the launch of “Luna,” the world’s first pizza taco, blending traditional pizza techniques with an innovative twist.
Limited Edition Menu
For the collaboration, House of Sunny has crafted a special menu at Unlock, including a vegan version of the popular pizza taco. Highlights include:
- HoS Pizza: Tomato chutney, Cantabrico anchovies, Parmigiano cream, Colatura di alici, and tomato flakes.
- Vegan Luna Pizza Taco: Fermented red cabbage, crispy cauliflower, vegan mayo, and curly parsley, served with beetroot hummus.
Fashion Meets Function
The event will also feature a limited-edition House of Sunny capsule collection, with items such as t-shirts, cardigans, hoodies, and caps available for purchase. In a nod to the collaboration, the Unlock team will debut custom uniforms designed by House of Sunny.

House of Sunny will reimagine Unlock’s interior for the duration of the event, creating a retro-inspired environment with visual installations and bespoke decor. This immersive atmosphere aims to blur the lines between fashion, food, and art, aligning with the broader international trend of high-profile restaurant and fashion collaborations.
