A Fusion of Art and Nature

The journey into FARM Rio’s Marylebone store begins at the entrance, where Amazonian artist Maqueson da Silva’s marquetry work graces the floor. The intricate patterns blend seamlessly with the shop’s preserved original flooring, creating a harmonious balance between the old and the new.

The walls are transformed into a tropical dreamscape by French artist Dominique Jardy, whose delicate watercolour paintings evoke the lushness of Brazil. Complementing this is a sculptural mirror made from natural palm fibres, created by New York-based Honduran artist Rosalila.

English artists Carlie Allan and Daniel Bland add their touch with hand-painted golden accents on the store’s windows, back door, and archways. These details mix FARM Rio’s signature tropical prints with classic European aesthetics, paying homage to its new London home.

Exclusive Artistic Features

The Marylebone store introduces unique design elements, including bronze sculptures by artist Walmor Corrêa. These pieces include a trio of hummingbirds displayed on the walls and a floating ‘weaver bird’ sculpture. Known for its symbolic associations with mimicry and protection, the weaver bird adds a sense of harmony and intrigue to the store’s atmosphere.

This collaboration highlights FARM Rio’s commitment to bringing together diverse artistic voices while staying true to its Brazilian roots. Each detail, from sculptural elements to painted accents, reflects a celebration of nature and craftsmanship.

By situating the new store in Marylebone, FARM Rio combines its commitment to nature-inspired design with the historic charm of one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.
