Fortnum & Mason has partnered with Disney to mark 100 years of Winnie the Pooh with a collection spanning food, gifting, homeware and afternoon tea.
At its centre is Disney’s Winnie the Pooh ‘100 Aker Wood Hunny’. Fortnum & Mason and Disney describe it as the first official honey inspired by the character’s Hundred Acre Wood home.

The honey was produced using beehives placed in Friends Field in Ashdown Forest, the real-life landscape that inspired the Hundred Acre Wood.
Bees gathered nectar from the surrounding woodland, with the honey harvested across separate spring and summer yields. Each harvest has its own flavour profile.
Honey From Ashdown Forest
The collection includes ‘Disney Winnie the Pooh 100 Aker Wood Spring Hunny’ and ‘Disney Winnie the Pooh 100 Aker Wood Summer Hunny’, both presented in glass jars.
A third variety, the ‘Disney Winnie the Pooh 100 Aker Wood Creamed Spring Hunny Pot’, contains 300g of gently whipped honey in a keepsake ceramic pot.
The surrounding area is not subject to intensive farming, allowing a diverse range of flora to support bees and other pollinators.
The beekeepers also use a slow beekeeping process without pesticides or insecticides.

Food, Gifting and Homeware
The wider collection reflects the shared association of Fortnum & Mason and Winnie the Pooh with picnics.
- Disney Winnie the Pooh Hunny Pot Hamper: a selection of sweet treats and honey-led products presented in a limited-edition wicker container.
- Disney Winnie the Pooh and Friends Iced Biscuits: biscuits decorated with characters from the stories.
- Disney Winnie the Pooh & Piglet’s Hunny Truffle Selection: five truffles, each made using a different Fortnum’s honey.
- Disney Winnie the Pooh 100 Aker Wood Tea Towel: a design featuring a map of the Hundred Acre Wood and the position of Fortnum’s beehive.
- Winnie the Pooh Bear with Honey Pot: a keepsake plush depicting the character holding a honey pot.

Themed Afternoon Tea
Fortnum & Mason will introduce a Winnie the Pooh-themed afternoon tea as part of the centenary programme.
The theme will be available across its Classic, Savoury, High Tea and Children’s menus.
“Creating the first authentic Hundred Acre Wood Hunny is the most wonderful way to honour the legacy of Disney Winnie the Pooh, whose world is so in keeping with the core beliefs at the heart of Fortnum’s – sustainability, charm, and the very finest British honey.”
