Meadowhall has announced the signing of Pop Mart for its South Yorkshire debut, alongside new openings for LEGO and Crew Clothing.

The additions bring three well-known names to the Sheffield destination and reinforce Meadowhall’s position as a leading super-regional retail centre.

Pop Mart 3 Large

Chinese-born toy retailer Pop Mart has signed for a 2,618 sq ft unit on the upper level of Meadowhall’s High Street. The store will mark the brand’s debut in South Yorkshire and will carry its collection of collectable toys, including Labubu, Hello Kitty and Disney ranges.

The signing is intended to support Meadowhall’s appeal among Gen Z and millennial shoppers, with Pop Mart joining other East Asian-inspired brands at the centre, including Miniso and Kenji.

LEGO Upsizes After 15 Years At Meadowhall

LEGO has relocated to an upsized store on Meadowhall’s lower mall High Street after 15 years at the scheme. The 4,561 sq ft store has been designed as a hub for the building community, with product launches, interactive experiences and special events. LEGO now sits close to the recently launched Pull&Bear and Stradivarius stores.

Crew Clothing Joins The Avenue

Meadowhall has also welcomed Crew Clothing to The Avenue’s lower level. The 2,000 sq ft store carries the brand’s coastal-inspired womenswear, menswear and childrenswear collections.

Crew 1 Large

Crew Clothing joins a wider line-up of premium retailers on The Avenue, including Whittard, The White Company and L’Occitane on the lower level, and Molton Brown and Frasers on the upper level. The opening reflects the accessible luxury positioning being developed in this part of the mall.

“The addition of three powerhouse retailers to Meadowhall’s retail mix, including a regional debut for Pop Mart and a significant upsize for LEGO, is indicative of sustained leasing demand here, and its reputation amongst the best brands as the region’s prime retail destination. Having Crew Clothing on The Avenue is also a sign of the role we play in shaping the destination, putting the right brands in the right places, as this part of the mall takes shape as a more premium shopping experience.”

Richard Crowther, Retail Leasing Director at British Land

The signing of Pop Mart and the openings of LEGO and Crew Clothing follow the recent launches of Stradivarius and Pull&Bear at Meadowhall. The centre has also introduced an AI-powered personal styling service, designed to combine digital technology with the experience of physical retail.
