Greggs and Just Eat are using London Fashion Week as the backdrop for a two-hour brand activation giving qualifying customers the chance to receive a pre-loved designer handbag alongside their food delivery.

Running from 11am to 1pm on Thursday 17 September, customers spending more than £20 on a Greggs order through Just Eat could receive an authentic pre-loved handbag from a premium fashion house at no extra cost. A limited number of handbags will be available and allocated on a first-ordered, first-served basis.

The activation will run through participating stores in Manchester, London, Leeds and Edinburgh, taking the campaign beyond the capital while retaining London Fashion Week as its central cultural hook.

Fashion Week Hook Extends Greggs’ Collaboration Strategy

The campaign brings together food delivery, fashion and luxury resale within a single promotional mechanic, contrasting Greggs’ high-street positioning with pre-loved accessories from premium fashion houses.

It also continues Greggs’ use of unexpected cross-category partnerships. Previous activity has included its Bistro Greggs collaboration with Fenwick in Newcastle, which placed the bakery brand within a department store dining environment.

Each handbag included in the giveaway will be a different design, with the pre-loved pieces handpicked for their style and quality.

By linking the promotion to a qualifying Greggs delivery rather than selling the handbags separately, the activation uses the London Fashion Week calendar to create a limited-edition customer experience around the existing Greggs and Just Eat partnership.

“From Sausage Rolls to statement bags, this might just be our most fashionable launch yet. By teaming up with Just Eat during London Fashion Week, we’re giving lucky customers the chance to bag an authentic designer handbag, proving that great taste doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag. We’re stitching together the worlds of high fashion and everyday value in a way only Greggs can, for a deliciously unexpected twist on lunchtime.”

Pre-Loved Luxury Adds a Resale Fashion Angle

Rather than sourcing new accessories specifically for the promotion, the giveaway centres on authentic pre-loved handbags, giving existing luxury pieces a further use.

That element places the activation alongside a wider focus on second-hand fashion during September, with Oxfam’s Second Hand September 2026 campaign also putting pre-loved clothing and reuse on the retail agenda.

For Just Eat, the campaign uses its existing delivery relationship with Greggs as the fulfilment mechanism for the limited giveaway, adding a fashion-led incentive to qualifying orders during the two-hour window.

“Who says a Sausage Roll can’t come with a side of luxury? By teaming up with Greggs, we’ve put a playful and accessible spin on London Fashion Week, giving customers the chance to bag something extra special with their lunch.”
