American Vintage has opened a new flagship at 54 Redchurch Street in East London, taking its estate in the capital to 11 stores and its UK total to 12. The store opened on 6 August 2026 and is positioned between Brick Lane and Shoreditch High Street.

The Redchurch Street opening extends American Vintage’s London presence through a location selected for its creative character and mix of independent boutiques and places to eat and drink.

Two-Floor Flagship Design

Arranged across two floors, the store has been designed to encourage movement between spaces rather than separating product categories rigidly by level. Menswear, for example, is distributed through the store rather than being confined to one floor.

Lighting forms part of the customer journey, with installations including a light box used to draw attention towards the upper floor. A brightly lit staircase is also intended to improve visibility and movement between levels. These contemporary elements sit alongside retained architectural features, including the building’s brick façade.

Pale yellow is used across the exterior and parts of the interior. The colour, previously introduced by American Vintage at a Barcelona location, is also reflected in the product presentation, including a selection of T-shirts in corresponding tones.

The project also draws on local and European craftsmanship. According to the brand, UK-based paint artisans were involved in the scheme, with elements selected and produced with an emphasis on local sourcing and production.

Opening Activity on Redchurch Street

To mark the opening on 6 August, American Vintage hosted a breakfast by Miel Bakery and introduced exclusive Bonjour London T-shirts. The launch activity continued on 7 August, with visitors also offered a tote bag as part of the opening programme.

The Redchurch Street flagship carries collections for women, men and children. Its opening brings American Vintage’s London store count to 11 and its wider UK estate to 12 locations.
