Boots has unveiled its refurbished 64,000 sq ft store, introducing the retailer’s latest interior concept alongside an enhanced beauty offer focused on premium brands.
The revised beauty proposition includes Charlotte Tilbury, which is available in just 2% of Boots stores nationwide. Queensgate said the brand’s inclusion reflects the centre’s catchment and customer profile.
Primark has completed a full refurbishment of its 59,000 sq ft anchor store. The project introduces a modernised store environment and revised layout, together with 18 new self-checkouts across its two trading floors.
The refurbished store presents Primark’s latest fashion, beauty and home collections, with the changes intended to create a more efficient customer journey and respond to demand from Queensgate visitors.
Vision Express has reopened its updated Central Mall store with a new contemporary design and additional clinical technology, including a dry eye machine.
The investment reflects the growing role of health and wellbeing services within retail destinations. According to Queensgate, Vision Express has recorded growth in sales and customer engagement since the store relaunched.
The centre’s management team said the programme forms part of an active asset management strategy focused on maintaining retailer investment and responding to visitor demand.
“The ongoing investment from our tenants has been transformative for Queensgate and is a key driver behind the growth across the scheme in recent months. Delivering the best customer experience and a market-leading retail offer has always been the priority, as well as ensuring visitors can shop the best brands including their latest concepts. Boots and Primark remain key anchor brands for the scheme, and Vision Express is delivering more experiential healthcare services, reinforcing the strength and quality of our tenant mix.”
