Arc’teryx, the renowned Canadian outdoor gear and clothing brand, has marked a significant milestone in its European expansion by opening a new store south of the Thames. Located at Battersea Power Station, this is the brand’s third London store, joining the European pinnacle store in Piccadilly and a brand store in Covent Garden.

The new store, which spans an impressive 250 square metres, is situated on the Upper Ground Floor of the Power Station. It will be a showcase for Arc’teryx’s extensive range of technical gear and equipment designed for a variety of mountain activities. Customers can expect to find products catering to mountaineering, climbing, trail running, hiking, and skiing/snowboarding, along with a selection of footwear and accessories.

But this new Arc’teryx outpost is set to be more than just a store. Plans are in place to transform it into an active hub for London’s outdoor community. The store will host an array of community events and activities throughout the year, such as climbing gym nights, film screenings, and group runs.

In celebration of its grand opening, Arc’teryx has planned two days of festivities. On 7 July, a Grand Opening Climbing Party will take place at Parthian in Wandsworth, featuring bouldering and rope climbing alongside UK athlete Mina Leslie Wujastyk. This will be followed by an all-day celebration at the store on 8 July, complete with complimentary drinks and bespoke cakes from local partners.

The 8 July will also see the launch of the Norvan Line Running Challenge, a community running event inspired by the brand’s Norvan trail running collection. Led by Arc’teryx community ambassadors, the challenge will take runners from Leicester Square to Battersea Power Station, following the route of the Northern Line.

The store, located at Unit UG-012A Upper Ground Floor, Phase 2 Battersea Power Station, will be open from 10am to 9pm Monday to Saturday, and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays.
