Beaverbrooks is investing £1.4 million in its store at Lakeside Shopping Centre in West Thurrock, its largest store investment of 2026. The refurbished store, which has more than doubled in size, reopens on Wednesday 4 November.

The store now covers 2,628 sq ft, up from 1,076 sq ft, an increase of 144%, and is set up as a destination for diamonds, jewellery and Swiss watches. It includes a new dedicated TAG Heuer area, where customers will be able to buy the new TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph, a worldwide exclusive to Beaverbrooks.

Its own-brand diamonds and fine jewellery will include the exclusive Beyond Brilliance diamond collection, which features a diamond cut described as the only one of its kind, the traceable True by Beaverbrooks collection and a new lab-grown diamond range.

Lakeside will also be the only Beaverbrooks store to stock Monica Vinader, the latest jewellery brand to join the retailer, alongside fashion jewellery brands including Coach and D. Louise.

The family-owned jeweller has traded at Lakeside Shopping Centre for 31 years, and the investment is the latest in a series by The Beaverbrooks Group to strengthen its store portfolio. Drawing on more than 107 years of diamond and jewellery expertise, the retailer has 82 stores across the UK, including four Loupe boutiques and 22 luxury mono-brand watch boutiques.

“We’re delighted to be reopening our store in Lakeside Shopping Centre and welcoming both new and returning customers. This is our largest investment of the year, and we’re proud to be future proofing our estate by continually investing where there’s opportunity.”

Anna Blackburn, Managing Director, Beaverbrooks

To mark the reopening, the store will run a Spin the Wheel giveaway over its opening weekend, from 6 to 8 November, with more than £2,500 of prizes including Beaverbrooks gift cards and jewellery.

“We’re so proud to have been a part of Lakeside shoppers’ special occasions for the past 31 years. We’re delighted to be opening our doors just in time for our customers to enjoy great Black Friday savings and those special Christmas purchases for loved ones.

We’ve missed seeing customers while we’ve been closed, so we wanted to welcome shoppers back with something properly fun. We welcome everyone to come and visit us in store on 6th-8th November, give the wheel a spin and see what you win. There’s something for everyone, and we can’t wait to see the smiles.”

Ella Hurley, Branch Manager, Beaverbrooks Lakeside

The reopening adds to recent investment by jewellers at Lakeside, where Ernest Jones unveiled a new store concept in September, and follows the centre’s repositioning of its Brompton Arcade in June.
