The new store is expected to open this winter, adding to the centre’s retail line-up as Thistles continues to repurpose one of its most prominent former department store spaces.
B&M is to open a new store at Thistles Shopping Centre in Stirling, taking 13,660 sq ft within the former Debenhams unit.
Expected to open this winter, the store will form part of the ongoing transformation of one of Thistles Shopping Centre’s most prominent retail spaces. The retailer will offer ranges across homeware, food, health and beauty, seasonal products, DIY essentials, toys, games and gifts.
The opening by B&M is also expected to create new jobs for the Stirling community ahead of the peak festive trading period.
“We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”
B&M Thistles Stirling spokesperson
“We’re pleased to confirm that B&M will be joining Thistles later this year, taking space within the former Debenhams unit. “This is a really positive step for the centre. Bringing a much-loved brand into such a prominent space reflects the continued demand we’re seeing from both retailers and shoppers, as well as the progress we’re making in evolving the offer at Thistles. “With strong footfall and continued investment, our focus is on ensuring the centre continues to meet the needs of our visitors, and B&M will play an important role in that ahead of our busiest trading period.”
Gary Turnbull, Centre Director, Thistles
The announcement follows continued activity at Thistles, with recent additions including Rituals, Lovisa and Miniso.
