Luxury lifestyle brand BYREDO will open its first UK standalone store outside of London at Victoria Leeds. Located in the destination’s Victoria Quarter, the 2,154 sq ft store builds on the brand’s existing concession at Harvey Nichols and signals further investment in regional retail expansion.

The new space will offer BYREDO’s full range of fragrance, makeup, homeware, leather goods and accessories, giving visitors an immersive brand experience. The opening reflects wider growth in the health and beauty sector at Victoria Leeds, which has seen a 15% uplift over 2024. This demand is expected to grow further with BYREDO’s arrival.

Joining Aesop, which recently opened its first store in the North of England within the same quarter, BYREDO’s presence will enhance the centre’s curated self-care and luxury offering.

Rachel Bradburn, Leasing Director at Victoria Leeds, said: “The luxury nature of BYREDO means they will be a perfect fit with our leading tenant mix. Yet another strategic brand decision to launch its first standalone store outside of London, BYREDO’s flagship further cements Victoria Quarter as the go-to premier destination for luxury brands. We cannot wait to see what their new expanded space brings to the destination’s premium line-up.”

The announcement follows the recent arrival of womenswear brand Nobody’s Child, also opening its first Northern location and second UK store outside London. The openings underscore Victoria Leeds’ ongoing success in attracting premium brands making regional debuts.

Lunson Mitchenall and Central Retail represented Victoria Leeds in the transaction.
