Cambridge Satchel has opened its fourth UK store in Windsor Royal, further strengthening its retail footprint. The 46.2 sqm space, housed in the Grade II listed Windsor Royal Station, marks the brand’s most ambitious store design to date.
Art Deco-inspired design enhances the Windsor store
Under the leadership of CEO Carine de Koenigswarter, the new store’s design has been crafted by Atelier A&D, drawing inspiration from the Art Deco movement. The space features a double-height ceiling, reinstated to highlight the store’s double-sided entry, while a concealed illuminated coffer enhances the sense of lightness and height. The listed fireplace has also been restored, complemented by a large lightbox showcasing the brand’s collection.
A feature wall has been designed to display Cambridge Satchel’s iconic pieces, while low-level units along the perimeter offer additional product showcases. The shop windows feature custom-built Sheffield steel cubes, adding a luxurious touch to the layout. At the centre, a circular joinery display invites customers to browse the brand’s selection of small leather goods and charms.
Exclusive Windsor collection and in-store personalisation
The new Windsor store offers the complete Cambridge Satchel collection, alongside exclusive designs inspired by Windsor’s royal heritage. These include a Union Jack Heart charm, a Crown charm, a Windsor-named charm as part of the Swizzels Love Hearts collection, as well as a Corgi and Guardsman charm. Customers can also take advantage of the brand’s in-house embossing service, allowing for personalised leather goods.

Following successful store openings in Covent Garden, Cambridge, and Leeds, Cambridge Satchel is continuing to grow its brick-and-mortar presence in key UK cities.
