Crew Clothing has announced the opening of a new store in Brighton, scheduled to launch in late autumn 2025. The 1,054 sq ft store will be located in Churchill Square, a central retail hub in East Sussex.

The new opening follows a period of expansion for the British lifestyle brand, which has already launched 10 new locations earlier this year and has stated plans to open a further 20 in 2026. The Brighton store will also create four new jobs in the local area.

Crew Clothing 2025

This addition builds on recent openings in Muswell Hill and Trentham Gardens, and will allow customers in Brighton to shop the brand’s upcoming AW25 collection in person. To mark the occasion, Crew Clothing is offering Nyetimber tasters to guests, alongside £10 off a £50 spend for the first 50 customers. Those first 50 spenders will also receive a branded tote bag containing an extra gift.

Founded in 1993 in Salcombe, Crew Clothing’s collections continue to reflect its coastal origins. The brand’s clothing includes a mix of menswear, womenswear and childrenswear, with signature styles such as heritage rugby shirts, tailored casualwear, and Breton stripe pieces.

The store will open in Churchill Square, joining a wide selection of national and international retail names in one of Brighton’s most visited shopping destinations.

Crew Clothing maintains partnerships across British sport, including with England Red Roses, the Lawn Tennis Association, Henley Royal Regatta and Exeter Chiefs, further emphasising the brand’s connection with heritage and performance.

Suzanne Wildley, Head of Retail South at Crew Clothing, commented: “We’re delighted to be opening a new store in beautiful Brighton. Crew Clothing was born by the coast, and you can still see that coastal influence in our collections today. It therefore feels very fitting to be opening in Brighton, and we know there are already so many fans of the brand here. It’s also a homecoming for me. Brighton is my hometown and my career started in Churchill Square, so it feels like coming full circle to be back and opening a new Crew location here. The store should open just in time for our busiest sales period of the year, and we can’t wait to welcome shoppers through the door with our exciting opening offers.”

The Brighton location will open just ahead of the Christmas retail season, with the brand aiming to maximise seasonal footfall and grow its presence in the South East.
