Dragon’s Den investor and CEO of Social Chain, Steven Bartlett, is confirmed as a keynote speaker at Retail Technology Show, the new flagship event for retail that brings together Europe’s most forward-thinking retailers and leading tech innovators. Bartlett joins over 70 retail visionaries, including New Look, Fat Face, The Body Shop, Coty, Curry’s and Amazon, who are also confirmed to speak at retail’s premier event, taking place at London’s Olympia on 26-27 April 2022.

Bartlett – famed not only as a BBC ‘Dragon’ but also for his straight-talking podcast series, Diary of a CEO – will join Andrew Busby, Founder & CEO of Retail Reflections, on the Headline Stage for his keynote session.  The fire-side chat will demystify the Metaverse, one of the hottest topics driving next dimension retail innovation, and explores how this new frontier, and the growing trend for NFTs, will change the retail landscape and redefine consumer behaviour.  The future-gazing session will outline what the Metaverse will look like by 2025, with practical strategies on how retailers can prepare – from an infrastructural to a technology partner perspective – and pitfalls to avoid.
