From today, Nespresso and social enterprise Change Please are inviting Londoners to enjoy coffee that makes a difference. The Nespresso x Change Please Coffee Van has arrived in Covent Garden Square, where it will remain until 10 October, serving barista-crafted coffee with a social purpose.
The launch coincides with World Coffee Day on 1 October, when Londoners can pick up a free coffee from 10am to 5pm. From 2 October onwards, coffees will be available daily at the same times, with every purchase helping to support Change Please’s mission of ending homelessness through employment, housing and wellbeing initiatives.

Change Please, founded ten years ago in Covent Garden as a single coffee cart, now reinvests 100% of its profits into training and employing people experiencing homelessness, while also providing accommodation and mental health support. To date, Nespresso has contributed £1.5 million to the Change Please Foundation, helping more people find stability and long-term opportunities.
Anna Lundstrom, CEO of Nespresso UK and ROI, said:
“At Nespresso, we have always believed in the power of coffee as a force for good. What better way to celebrate International Coffee Day than to showcase this power. Over the next 10 days we invite Londoners to take a moment to enjoy our specially crafted Nespresso for Change Please coffees and learn about how together we can support people on their journey out of homelessness.”
The van will be serving a specially crafted Nespresso for Change Please blend, described as offering sweet notes of toasted cereals with a hint of nut, highlighting the brand’s focus on flavour and quality.
The initiative not only marks a decade since Change Please first launched but also reflects the growing collaboration between coffee culture and social impact.
Where to find it: Covent Garden Square, 1–10 October, 10am–5pm daily. Free coffee available on World Coffee Day, 1 October, 10am–5pm.
