Rituals has officially opened its 100th retail location in the UK, marking the occasion with a new store launch in St Albans. The milestone underscores the brand’s continuing efforts to promote mindful living through its line of home and body products.
The latest addition to the Rituals portfolio is positioned in the centre of St Albans, and opened its doors in August. The space follows the company’s signature design approach, offering an immersive experience that invites customers to explore personalised self-care routines.

“Reaching 100 stores in the UK is more than a number – it’s a reflection of the deep connection we’ve built with our customers,” said Annemarie Forsyth, Managing Director, Rituals UK & Ireland. “From our very first store to this exciting new chapter in St Albans, we’ve remained committed to helping people slow down and find joy in everyday moments. We’re excited to continue to thoughtfully expand our presence across the UK and Ireland, two markets which are hugely important to us. Helping us reach more communities while staying rooted in our values remains a focus.”
The retailer first entered the UK market with a single location and has since expanded into a nationwide presence. It now operates stores in key cities including London, Belfast, Swansea, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh.

Designed to serve as more than a retail space, each store acts as a calm retreat for customers to engage with the Rituals philosophy. The St Albans branch continues this approach with a series of features including tranquil in-store environments, expert-led consultations, and integration with the MyRituals loyalty programme, which offers exclusive benefits to members.
As part of its expansion efforts, the company has created over 1,000 jobs in the UK, contributing to the broader revitalisation of British high streets. In parallel, Rituals has confirmed plans to extend its presence in Ireland, with two new openings scheduled for 2025. This will bring the Irish total to 18 stores, while UK locations are projected to reach 113 by year-end, excluding travel-specific retail points.

Looking forward, Rituals is preparing to unveil the UK’s first Mind Oasis in 2025. The new concept store will be located on London’s Oxford Street and is positioned as a space for visitors to disconnect and recharge. The initiative aligns with the company’s broader message that self-care is not a luxury but an essential practice.
Sustainability remains a cornerstone of the Rituals business model. Through its Profit Pledge initiative, the company allocates 10% of its net profits to social and environmental programmes. The business is also working towards increasing the proportion of natural-origin formulas in its products, and is committed to improving the sustainability of its packaging and supply chain materials.
With its UK and Ireland retail footprint set to reach 131 permanent stores, along with an additional six travel locations by the end of 2025, Rituals continues to focus on growth grounded in wellness and responsibility.
