UMusic Shop Camden is introducing a bar to its store in Camden Market’s Stables Market, together with a partnership with audio brand Victrola that brings dedicated vinyl listening stations and an ongoing Victrola product range into the store.
The UMusic Bar officially launches on Friday 30 October with an evening event from 6pm to 9pm, ahead of a Stevie Wonder takeover at the store beginning on 2 November. The launch will celebrate Stevie Wonder’s music with vinyl listening and DJ sets from London Sound Academy.

The listening stations are built around Victrola’s Automatic Turntable, which starts and finishes a record at the touch of a button, letting visitors choose an album, press play and listen in store. Guidance will be on hand for anyone new to vinyl.
Beyond the launch, Victrola products will be sold at UMusic Shop Camden on an ongoing basis. The range is aimed at different types of listener, from first-time record buyers to collectors returning to CDs and cassettes alongside vinyl, and those setting up a dedicated listening space at home, with the bar giving shoppers the chance to hear the turntables before taking one home.

The bar and listening stations extend the store’s programme of artist takeovers, exclusive merchandise and fan experiences, creating further reasons for visitors to spend time in the store beyond a conventional retail visit.
The Universal Music store opened in the Stables Market in December 2025, and the bar arrives ahead of its first anniversary. UMusic Shop Camden is arranged as a series of zones: a specialist vinyl shop, a listening studio, a vinyl lounge, a main performance stage and a merchandise space.

Takeovers during its first year have included a celebration of 30 years of JAY-Z’s career, with limited-edition merchandise, an Armand de Brignac bar and a line-up of DJs, and a dedicated Olivia Rodrigo fan experience.
A full-store Bon Jovi takeover also highlighted the band’s collaboration with the TGR Haas F1 Team, with a real TGR Haas F1 car positioned in the store.

Victrola, which traces its history back to 1906, is a global company making turntables and audio products for listening at home.
