Alo, the fashion and lifestyle brand with a well-established focus on mind‑body wellness, has opened a boutique and beach club at the Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum. This marks the brand’s second retail presence in Turkey, following its launch in Istanbul last year in partnership with Soho Group, a regional lifestyle retailer.
The boutique, which began welcoming guests on 1 May, is a 700‑square‑foot shop‑in‑shop designed to reflect Alo’s aesthetic of serene, mindful elegance. The exterior features iroko wood treated using the traditional Shou Sugi Ban technique—known for its charred, durable finish—paired with an interior that emphasises light and warmth. Inside, visitors encounter white oak millwork, matte black detailing, and a plant‑covered ceiling, the latter a first for Alo.

Towards the end of May 2025, Alo officially introduced its seasonal Alo Beach Club along the Mandarin Oriental’s private beachfront. The installation integrates natural materials and a muted colour palette—espresso, gravel and bone—to mirror its Aegean surroundings. Seating, towels and decor are crafted from premium cotton blends, while structural elements use oak and pine sourced locally. The layout is set amid mature pine and olive trees, with flowering plants incorporated to create a cohesive natural environment.

Guests can enjoy coconut refreshments from a custom Alo‑branded cart operated by the hotel. Alo’s branding also appears on the beach menu presentation, which continues to feature the Mandarin Oriental’s culinary selections. From May to September, the hotel will host a roster of wellness sessions led by international Alo instructors. These include sunrise yoga, sound healing, meditation, Pilates, outdoor strength workouts and face yoga. These activities have been woven into the Mandarin Oriental’s existing spa and wellness programme to offer a comprehensive mind‑and‑body experience.

“We are authentically connecting with a global community seeking elevated wellness experiences,” said Danny Harris, co‑CEO and co‑founder of Alo. “This new space brings the full Alo lifestyle to life at the intersection of travel, wellness, and fashion.”
Abdelrahman Ismeik, CEO of Soho Group, commented: “The launch of Alo in Bodrum is more than just a retail expansion. It’s a cultural moment that blends wellness, style, and lifestyle in one of the most iconic destinations in the Mediterranean. We are proud to be part of creating this immersive experience at the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum.”
