Athletic and lifestyle brand Champion is introducing a two-month takeover with the launch of ‘Champion Sports Bar at Harry Gordon’s,’ located on LG at Selfridges London. This sports bar is part of Selfridges’ summer celebration of sport, Sportopia.
Champion has transformed Harry Gordon’s Bar & Kitchen into a US sports bar-themed space, offering customers a journey through sports history and clothing archives. Exclusive vintage pieces from Champion’s New York Archives, dating back to the 1940s and 1950s, will be on display, allowing fans to immerse themselves in iconic sporting moments. With a history spanning over 100 years, Champion has been at the forefront of sportswear innovation, pioneering the first hoodie, creating the sports bra, and developing the innovative ‘reverse weave’ technology. Champion’s heritage is deeply rooted in American sports, having outfitted iconic teams and leagues.
Customers can enjoy live streaming of major sporting events this summer, cheering on their favourite teams while savouring classic US sports bar cuisine. The menu includes ‘The Champion Hot Dog,’ ‘TouchDown Wings,’ ‘Three Pointer Shrimp Taco,’ and the sweet ‘Oreo Boozy Milkshake.’
In late June, Champion also opened a permanent concession at Selfridges London, located in the Designer Studio on the third floor. Shoppers can explore Champion’s original Made in Japan and Made in the USA capsules alongside other collections before heading down to the Champion Sports Bar for a meal and drinks.

The Champion Sports Bar at Harry Gordon’s is open seven days a week, starting at 11:30 am. Food and drink are served until 9:00 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday, until 9:30 pm on Friday, and until 6:00 pm on Sunday.
