Diptyque has announced the opening of its first Canary Wharf boutique in February 2025, marking a significant expansion into one of London’s busiest business and retail districts. The 48-square-metre space has been designed to reflect the brand’s architectural evolution, drawing inspiration from the recently opened Maison Diptyque London on New Bond Street, as well as its boutiques in Covent Garden and Marylebone High Street.

A Parisian-inspired boutique with British influences

The new boutique invites visitors to step into a space that blends Parisian elegance with British functionalism. Drawing from the design of Diptyque’s original boutique at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris, the open-plan layout encourages exploration while maintaining a connection to the brand’s cultural and artisanal heritage.

As with all Diptyque locations, the Canary Wharf boutique incorporates local design elements. The flooring is made from reclaimed wood, while warm tones and textures feature throughout. A lacquered coral focus table serves as a centrepiece, adding warmth to the space. The walls behind the cash desk are clad in tinted oak arranged in a geometric pattern, taking inspiration from the modernist architecture of Berthold Lubetkin. A striking hand-painted frieze by French artist Charlotte Bohn decorates the fragrance counter’s wall, further elevating the boutique’s artistic atmosphere.

Exclusive offerings and personalisation services

The boutique will feature Diptyque’s full range of luxury fragrances, candles, and body care products, alongside a selection of curated decorative pieces. Customers will also have access to exclusive personalisation services, including engraving, allowing them to add a unique touch to their purchases.

The launch of Diptyque Canary Wharf follows the brand’s continued expansion across London, reinforcing its presence in high-profile shopping destinations. With its combination of Parisian heritage, British design influences, and luxury craftsmanship, the new boutique is set to provide an immersive experience for fragrance lovers and collectors alike.

The official launch date is 14th February, at RP260, Cabot Place, London E14 4QT.
