Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough has announced the upcoming arrival of Frasers Group plc. The group is poised to launch multiple stores, including Frasers and Sports Direct, effectively revitalising the space previously occupied by John Lewis. This move is expected to redefine retail experiences in Queensgate, an 835,000 sq ft shopping centre managed by Invesco.
Frasers Group’s initiative involves a substantial 92,500 sq ft of retail space. The highlight is the Frasers concept store, designed to be a dynamic retail destination. This store will feature a diverse range of aspirational brands in various categories such as men’s, women’s, and kidswear, alongside offerings in homeware and beauty. Accompanying the Frasers store will be a 30,000 sq ft Sports Direct outlet. This space is anticipated to be an engaging sports destination, showcasing a vast array of sports and leisure brands. Additionally, the store will incorporate more brands from the Group’s ecosystem, including USC, Jack Wills, and GAME.
The introduction of these stores is set to provide Queensgate with a diverse brand ecosystem, enhancing the shopping experience with access to top-tier sports, lifestyle, and premium brands. These new additions aim to complement the existing retail mix within the centre.
