Lakeside, the out-of-town super-regional destination owned and operated by SGS UK Retail, has signed Montreal-born lifestyle brand GARAGE.
The brand has secured a 4,221 sq ft space on the upper level at Lakeside Shopping Centre, strengthening the centre’s contemporary fashion offer. GARAGE, which has 231 stores across North America, launched in the UK earlier this year and is continuing its expansion across the market.

Known for elevated essentials and active lifestyle pieces, GARAGE has built a strong following through its brand presence and off-duty positioning. Its collections draw on the energy and style of New York and Los Angeles, with apparel and accessories aimed at fashion-conscious shoppers.
Lakeside has a catchment of 8.5 million people within one hour’s drive. The latest signing forms part of the centre’s wider strategy to broaden its retail mix and align its offer with the needs of its regional customer base.

The announcement follows the signings of PURESEOUL, Space NK and Oliver Bonas at Lakeside, together accounting for nearly 10,000 sq ft at the destination. The three retailers will add to the centre’s premium and lifestyle-focused retail mix.
Smith Young and LM are Lakeside’s retail leasing agents, while Metis and LM lead leisure leasing. Pradera asset manages Lakeside on behalf of SGS UK Retail. Newmark acted on behalf of GARAGE.
