The Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull continues to expand its leading retail offerings with the arrival of Spanish fashion retailer Mango. The company has taken up a 5,250 sq ft ground floor unit on a new ten-year lease, further diversifying the scheme’s offer and attracting premium brands to the shopping centre.

The Touchwood Shopping Centre has seen a number of new retailers join the scheme over the past year, including luxury watchmaker Tag Heuer, premium appliance manufacturer Miele, cosmetics brand Rituals, and Polestar electric cars. These additions join existing major outlets such as H&M, Goldsmiths, John Lewis, Next, River Island, and Zara, solidifying Touchwood’s position as the region’s must-visit retail destination.

Touchwood Shopping Centre is an ideal location for a major fashion brand like Mango

The strategy of diversifying the retail offerings and attracting premium brands to the Touchwood Shopping Centre was developed and implemented by Touchwood’s owner, The Ardent Companies UK, in collaboration with asset manager Sovereign Centros. Since the acquisition of Touchwood by Ardent UK in summer 2021, the first major shopping centre acquisition since the onset of the pandemic, over 80,000 sq ft of new lettings and lease renewals have been signed. This has driven the centre’s occupancy above 96%, compared to 91% at the time of acquisition. Both football and trading performance during the key Christmas season were above the same period in 2019.
