Marc Jacobs has introduced a limited-time in-store activation at Bicester Village, centred on personalisation and live craft.

Titled “Bark Jacobs: Pet Portraits”, the activation gives customers the opportunity to have a hand-painted portrait of their pet added to selected leather handbags. The artwork is created in-store by local artists, with the process taking place in full view of customers at Bicester Village and inside the Marc Jacobs boutique.

Live Personalisation

The idea is straightforward: purchase a qualifying bag and book a slot, and an artist will paint your pet directly onto it. The service is available on full-price handbags only, with made-for-outlet lines excluded.

Appointments are recommended, although walk-ins may be possible depending on demand. Each piece is completed by hand on the day, adding a more immediate, one-off element to the purchase.

Despite the name, the activation is not limited to dogs. Cats, birds, turtles, pigs, hamsters and even horses are all included, reflecting a deliberately broad approach to the concept.
