MOSCOT has relocated its Soho shop from 37 to 39 Beak Street, expanding into a larger space as it marks 10 years since opening its first international location in London.

The New York eyewear brand has remained on the same street, moving next door into a 70 sq m shop with a 12 sq m testing facility. Located just off Carnaby Street, the new MOSCOT space continues the brand’s established presence in Soho while introducing a larger retail and clinical environment.

The shop carries forward design details intended to reflect its Lower East Side heritage, including tin ceilings, vintage objects and historical artefacts drawn from the family business’s history.

“Reaching ten years on Beak Street is a proud milestone for our family and for MOSCOT. Much like Orchard Street in New York, where we’ve been rooted for decades, Beak Street became our first home outside of the U.S. While we’ve outgrown our original space, staying in the neighborhood and moving next door felt like the most natural evolution. Soho welcomed us from the start, and this move allows us to continue serving our customers with the same care – just with a little more room to do it.”

Founded in 1915, MOSCOT began with Hyman Moscot selling eyeglasses from a pushcart on Orchard Street in New York. The business is now led by Dr. Harvey Moscot and Zack Moscot, 5th Generation & Chief Design Officer.

“Soho’s creative energy has always reminded us of the Lower East Side. From day one, Beak Street felt like home. Ten years on, that connection has only grown stronger – and this new space gives us the opportunity to deepen it.”

Since opening in Soho, the brand has added further London locations in Covent Garden, Marylebone and King’s Road, alongside recent openings in Florence, Melbourne and Guangzhou.
