Clarks Village in Somerset has enhanced its retail landscape with the opening of a new Moss store. Situated in a 1,733 sq foot unit within the outlet’s Apple Court, close to Vans and M&S, this addition represents a key development in Moss’s retail expansion. The store introduces a retail concept that blends modern design with the brand’s heritage of timeless elegance.

Brian Brick, CEO of Moss, shared his vision for the new store, highlighting the brand’s evolution. “This store is a celebration of everything Moss stands for today; modern, diverse, and accessible,” he stated. “We’ve drawn on our 172 years of tailoring expertise to present our most contemporary tailoring alongside a range of premium casual styles, making Moss a comprehensive destination for menswear.”

Undergoing a significant transformation, Moss has adapted to the changing demands of the menswear market. The brand’s recent shift from ‘Moss Bros’ to ‘Moss‘ reflects its adaptation to a more modern, diverse, digital, omni-channel retail environment while preserving its storied heritage. The brand has broadened its scope to offer more than traditional hire and formalwear, embracing a wider array of menswear options.

Coinciding with the store launch is the introduction of the SS24 Collection, which emphasizes softer tailoring and relaxed profiles suited for laid-back summer living. The collection includes multi-buy offers on staple items like Jersey, Chinos, and Oxford Shirts. The SS24 Wedding Collection features suits in light fabrics and airy fits, perfectly tailored for memorable moments, complemented by the seasonal styles and shades of the Hire collection.

Chris Davis, Centre Director at Clarks Village, welcomed the addition of Moss to the outlet, noting its positive impact on the menswear offerings. “Moss is a fantastic addition to Clarks Village, further enhancing our menswear range alongside our 90 designer and high-street brands with discounts of up to 60% off RRP,” Davis commented. “As the outlet’s first new brand launch in 2024, Moss’s arrival sets the stage for a year filled with new brand introductions, store revamps, exclusive VIP shopping experiences, and a host of events.”

The momentum of Moss’s retail expansion continues from 2023 into 2024, with the opening of the Edinburgh Flagship and the Clarks Village store among the latest to join Moss’s portfolio, now totaling 110 stores across the UK.
