St James Quarter has announced that Nespresso, the global coffee brand, is set to open its only Edinburgh boutique at the prestigious shopping and leisure destination. The move introduces Nespresso’s latest experiential retail concept to the city, reinforcing the Quarter’s growing reputation as a destination for premium brands.

The 1,173 sq ft Nespresso boutique will be prominently situated on Level 3 of St James Quarter, joining a carefully curated roster of aspirational brands. The addition enhances Edinburgh’s luxury retail offering and aligns with the destination’s ongoing strategy to elevate its tenant mix.

The new store is designed to foster meaningful connections and present elevated coffee experiences through its fresh, modern concept. A highlight is the ‘Coffee as an Art’ bar, a dedicated space where customers can explore the craft of coffee-making. Here, visitors can sample new flavours, including limited-edition blends from the summer collection, and participate in masterclasses led by the knowledgeable Nespresso team.

The boutique will showcase the brand’s complete range of coffee machines and accessories, enabling customers to explore and purchase the latest innovations. It will also feature a dedicated coffee pod recycling area, underscoring Nespresso’s commitment to circularity and ethical sourcing.

The announcement follows several high-profile additions to St James Quarter’s food and beverage lineup, including the reopening of itsu, and the arrival of Black Sheep Coffee and Pret A Manger, all contributing to the destination’s vibrant culinary scene.

Represented by P‑THREE and Culverwell, St James Quarter secured Nespresso with support from Nespresso’s agent, with Tom Pope of Lightlease leading negotiations on behalf of the coffee brand.
