Primark will open its first dedicated Home store in Great Britain later this summer, choosing Trafford Palazzo in Manchester as the launch site. This will be the retailer’s second stand-alone Home location, following its inaugural opening in Belfast earlier this year.
The upcoming 11,900 sq. ft, two-floor store will bring together Primark’s complete interiors range under one roof. Shoppers will have access to a broader selection of products intended to refresh living spaces, including cotton bedding, soft towels, furnishings, small furniture and ceramics.

Primark Home at Trafford Palazzo is designed to capture current homeware trends while offering practical essentials. Highlights of the collection include items such as teddy bear bedding, bow-themed decor, and seafood-inspired tableware, alongside core household necessities.
The store will also introduce customers to Primark’s new Edit collection—an elevated range of home products that includes premium tableware, plush towels and scented home fragrances. The collection aims to offer shoppers an upscale alternative while keeping price points within reach.
A dedicated Travel Shop will also form part of the new store layout. This section will feature travel accessories and holiday essentials, intended to provide year-round preparation for travellers.

Paul Baldwin, Trading Director for Home at Primark, said: “Our mission is simple: to make it easy for everyone to create a home they love, without breaking the bank. Customer reaction to our first Primark Home store in Belfast has been really positive, and we can’t wait to bring this exciting new concept to Great Britain later this summer. Homes have become more than just places to live, they’re an extension of our personalities, so whether it’s soft furnishings, statement tableware, or smart storage solutions you’re after, our range has something for every style and budget.”
Mark Whittaker, Managing Director at Peel Retail and Leisure, commented: “The opening of Primark Home at Trafford Palazzo, in the heart of TraffordCity, is an incredibly exciting moment for us. Not only because we are the first destination in Great Britain to do so, but the opening is going to be adding a leading concept to our already unique mixture of immersive shopping and leisure experiences. Primark Home will have something for everyone, and we look forward to the store opening in summer.”
Once open, the Trafford Palazzo site will join Primark’s existing stores in the Greater Manchester region, which include outlets in Manchester Market Street, Oldham, Bury, and Wigan.
