Sephora UK is set to continue its rapid retail expansion in 2025 with the announcement of a new store opening at Meadowhall, Sheffield. Scheduled to launch in summer 2025, the Meadowhall location will be the first Sephora store in Yorkshire, further strengthening the brand’s presence across the UK.
This announcement follows the news of Sephora’s upcoming Liverpool ONE store opening in spring, making Meadowhall the ninth addition to the retailer’s growing portfolio. Sephora already operates stores in Westfield London, Westfield Stratford City, Manchester’s Trafford Centre, Newcastle’s Eldon Square, Gateshead’s Metrocentre, Birmingham Bullring, and Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent.
Sarah Boyd, managing director of Sephora UK, expressed excitement about the expansion, highlighting the brand’s commitment to inclusivity, accessibility, and community connection. Meadowhall, Yorkshire’s largest shopping centre, is home to over 290 retail stores and 50 dining options. The new Sephora store will be located on the high street of the upper level, adding to the centre’s premium retail mix. Sephora UK’’s recent expansion beyond London has been met with enthusiasm, with thousands of beauty fans queueing overnight for store openings. The retailer has brought a variety of exclusive beauty brands to UK customers, many of which were previously unavailable in the region. The Meadowhall store will continue this trend, offering a carefully curated selection of innovative and sought-after brands across makeup, skincare, fragrance, haircare, grooming, and wellness. Customers can explore cult favourites such as Makeup by Mario, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, and Tarte Cosmetics, alongside Sephora’s own collection of cosmetics, body care, and hair care products.
In addition to a wide range of products, the new store will feature Sephora’s Beauty Hub, where customers can access professional beauty services. From quick touch-ups during a lunch break to full makeup applications for special occasions, the Beauty Hub will provide bookable services including makeup by Sephora Collection, skincare treatments, hair styling, and brow services by Benefit Cosmetics.
