Starbucks UK will host a fashion-inspired pop-up event at its Soho Place coffeehouse in London as part of a collaboration with The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical.

The activation, titled The Coffee Edit, will take place on 13 March and will temporarily transform the Soho Place store into a themed pop-up space located close to the West End theatre staging the production.

Fashion-Inspired Coffeehouse Takeover

Designed as a fashion-led retail experience, the event will feature curated designer pieces inspired by the story of The Devil Wears Prada. The pop-up has been developed in partnership with pre-owned luxury platform THE CIRKEL and will incorporate a live-streamed shopping element broadcast via the platform’s TikTok channel.

Visitors will be able to attend the free ticketed event at the Soho Place store between 17:00 and 19:00, with a live-streamed segment taking place earlier between 16:00 and 17:00.

Alongside the fashion showcase, the event will include a competition offering prizes including a trip to Milan, merchandise and ticket giveaways for the musical.

Fashion And Culture Collaboration

The pop-up forms part of Starbucks’ wider partnership with The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical, where the coffee chain has been named the production’s official coffee partner.

“As we continue our journey to get Back to Starbucks, we’re embracing our legacy in culture to create moments where creativity meets coffee and couture. It’s about reinforcing Starbucks as a brand that shows up in contemporary life and connects with identity beyond the coffeehouse.”

Esther van Onselen, Vice President Brand & Customer Experience, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Starbucks

The initiative follows other recent cultural collaborations for the brand, including The House of Coffee, a creative partnership platform launched at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Milan.
