British luxury clothing brand Sunspel has announced the opening of its first Paris store at 38 rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, in the heart of the Le Marais district. The new boutique is Sunspel’s first retail presence in France and its sixteenth store globally.
Situated on one of Le Marais’ oldest streets, the new location integrates heritage elements with a contemporary aesthetic. Items from the Sunspel archive, dating back to its founding in 1860, are showcased throughout the space, providing a window into the brand’s longstanding design legacy.

CEO Raul Verdicchi commented:
“France is one of our fastest growing markets and we were carefully looking for the right location for the brand in one of the most important fashion capitals in the world, where appreciation for craftsmanship is so important. Le Marais, with its rich history and creative energy, is the perfect location for us. We look forward to introducing our collection to Paris and to its global audience.”

The Paris opening is Sunspel’s third new store this year. Known for its refined wardrobe staples, the brand will present its full menswear range in the new space, including signature pieces such as the Riviera Polo Shirt, Boxer Short, and Classic T-shirt – the latter still handcrafted in the brand’s Long Eaton factory in England, where it has been based since 1937.

Sunspel has long enjoyed a connection with cultural icons. Its garments have been worn by figures including Brad Pitt in the recent film F1, Daniel Craig as James Bond in Casino Royale, and members of The Rolling Stones. The brand’s focus on understated design and premium natural materials continues to earn it a global following.

The new store reflects Sunspel’s ongoing expansion into key international markets, adding to its existing presence in the UK and US and a distribution network that serves over 200 countries worldwide.
The Sunspel Paris store is now open to visitors at 38 rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, 75004 Paris.
