Sunspel is set to open a new retail location in Edinburgh, Scotland, on 7 August. The store, located at 44 George Street in the city’s New Town, becomes the tenth Sunspel store in the UK and marks another step in the brand’s national expansion.

The space will offer the full menswear collection, including the Riviera Polo Shirt, the Classic T-shirt produced at Sunspel’s Long Eaton factory, and knitwear made in Scotland. The George Street site places the brand within a high-profile retail and heritage district in the Scottish capital.

Founded in 1860, Sunspel is a British clothing brand known for using natural materials and creating understated wardrobe staples. Its product line includes everyday garments made using fine fabrics and traditional production methods, including the Classic T-shirt, which is still handmade in Long Eaton, England—a site the company has operated from since 1937.

The new store opening follows Sunspel’s continued commitment to UK retail, alongside its international presence through stores in the US and stockists globally. The Edinburgh shop will bring the brand’s signature approach to modern essentials to shoppers in Scotland, supported by its established online presence that ships to over 200 countries.
