Danish company JYSK is upgrading its UK outlets. On 17th August 2023, they will be reopening their Bolton location as the first “XL” store in the UK.
This location has been renovated and expanded to a total of 1201 m2, allowing for a more enhanced shopping experience for both new and existing customers.

The Danish retailer have set their next goal of 5000 stores worldwide. This year, the Danes are planning to focus on bolstering their existing store portfolio to bring UK customers improved, refurbished stores with plans to bring all stores in the UK up to date with the 3.0 model by 2025 to ensure they’re providing the very best shopping environment for their product and customer.
JYSK has seen record results in the UK & Ireland during the financial year 2021/2022, increasing its turnover 11% despite challenging trading conditions. JYSK’s steady growth is owed to its continued focus by customers on home and garden improvements coupled with store expansion and investment over the last year.
