Bang & Olufsen, the renowned audio brand, has opened a new retail space on Manhattan’s Madison Avenue, inviting New Yorkers to engage in personalized design creation. Located in the heart of the city’s premier shopping district, Bang & Olufsen of Madison Avenue offers a luxurious environment for customers to interact with the brand’s comprehensive product range.
The 1,549 square foot venue immerses visitors in an experience that encapsulates Bang & Olufsen’s hallmark sound quality, craftsmanship, and design. Rick Costanzo, President of Bang & Olufsen Americas, comments on this strategic opening: “Just like the streets of Manhattan, Bang & Olufsen is all about the marriage of artful design and music. Our new Madison Avenue home embodies our enduring commitment to the city, and is yet another milestone in our journey towards strengthening our Luxury, Timeless, Technology proposition.”
The Madison Avenue store’s highlight is the first-ever Bang & Olufsen Bespoke Experience, near the New York Design Center. This space enables customers to design unique Bang & Olufsen products, with an extensive choice of fabrics, metals, and woods.
Inspired by New York’s vibrant artistic scene, the Madison Avenue store plans to host immersive musical events, extending the legacy of the brand’s SoHo showroom. Costanzo adds, “With a packed activity calendar, Bang & Olufsen of Madison Avenue will build upon our SoHo showroom’s rich heritage of celebrating the intersection of art and sound.”
Featuring Audo Copenhagen’s minimalistic Danish furniture, the showroom is a testament to Bang & Olufsen’s roots, offering a space for reflection, creation, and immersion in the B&O world. From today, customers can explore their creativity at this new artistic hub in New York.
