Danish homewares brand Søstrene Grene is expanding its Northern Ireland presence with the opening of a new store in Derry-Londonderry. Scheduled to launch this autumn, the store will be located in the Richmond Centre and will introduce customers to the brand’s Scandinavian design aesthetic and lifestyle approach rooted in the concept of hygge.
The forthcoming Derry-Londonderry branch marks the latest addition to the brand’s regional growth, following the opening of a store in Craigavon last year. Shoppers can expect a range of homewares, kitchen accessories, craft supplies, soft furnishings and seasonal décor. The products reflect the brand’s focus on blending style and functionality through Scandinavian design.
The store layout will follow Søstrene Grene’s hallmark labyrinth-style format, combined with soft lighting and classical music, all intended to create a calm and inviting atmosphere. The store aims to offer a setting where customers can browse at their own pace and discover new items designed to enhance everyday living with a sense of comfort and charm.

Søstrene Grene operates more than 350 stores across 17 countries and is continuing its expansion, with plans to open 100 new stores throughout the UK by 2027.
The Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and South of England stores are operated by UK partners Norma Jacob and Richard Power.
