The new HiiGRIND at FLANNELS Metrocentre adds an in-store hospitality space focused on coffee, nutrition and community, extending a partnership already established at four other FLANNELS locations.
FLANNELS has expanded its partnership with HiiCLUB with the opening of a HiiGRIND hospitality space at its Metrocentre store in Gateshead. The new location opened on Saturday 8 August 2026 and is the latest HiiGRIND site within the retailer’s store network.
Part of HiiCLUB, HiiGRIND is a community-led kitchen concept serving speciality coffee alongside an all-day nutritional menu. At Metrocentre, the space is designed to provide customers with somewhere to meet before or after shopping, while extending FLANNELS’ approach to bringing fashion, wellness and hospitality together within its stores.
“The opening of HiiGRIND at FLANNELS Metrocentre reflects our continued commitment to creating engaging shopping experiences, and signifies the strength of our partnership with HiiCLUB. By combining luxury retail with premium hospitality, we’re creating destinations where people can shop, socialise and recharge, all under one roof.”
FLANNELS spokesperson
“HiiGRIND has been on an exciting and rewarding journey, and following the success of HiiGRIND at other FLANNELS stores, we’re excited to continue growing our partnership and welcome new customers to the HiiGRIND community.”
Josh Rose Co-Founder of HiiCLUB
The Metrocentre opening follows HiiGRIND launches within FLANNELS stores at Meadowhall, Leeds, Leicester Fosse Park and Liverpool, extending the partnership across a further UK location.
