Frasers Group has officially opened its latest FRASERS concept store in Dundee, marking a new chapter for the retail space previously occupied by Debenhams in the Overgate Shopping Centre.
The newly launched store spans three floors and covers 60,000 square feet, integrating a mix of premium fashion, lifestyle, sportswear, and beauty offerings. The opening of this site has also generated over 80 jobs within the local community.

Lauren Barrie, Group Head of Retail at Frasers Group, commented: “We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to inspire our customers and create standout shopping experiences. Our new FRASERS concept store in Dundee does exactly that, bringing together sport, premium fashion, lifestyle and beauty under one roof. We’re proud to be a part of shaping the future of Dundee’s retail landscape with this exciting new addition.”

On the ground level, shoppers can explore designated zones for menswear, womenswear, and childrenswear. These areas feature an array of recognised brands such as Coach, BOSS, Barbour, C.P. Company, and UGG. The layout is designed to enhance accessibility and product visibility. A notable addition is the dedicated Denim Concept zone, which highlights products from Levi’s, Tommy Jeans, and Replay.

One of the store’s central attractions is its Beauty Hall, aimed at serving the interests of makeup and skincare enthusiasts. Products from brands including Charlotte Tilbury, Dior Beauty, Creed, and Trinny London are available, with Trinny London making its debut in the FRASERS portfolio.

The upper floors are anchored by Sports Direct, reinforcing its established presence in the sports retail sector. The store features items from international names such as adidas, Nike, Under Armour, PUMA, New Balance, Asics, Skechers, The North Face, and On. One of the notable features is the Running Concept zone, which includes advanced gait analysis technology, offering tailored footwear recommendations.

Sports Direct Dundee also showcases Frasers Group’s specialist sports brands. USA Pro offers women’s activewear, while Everlast and Slazenger cater to boxing and broader sports markets. The timing of the opening coincides with preparations for the Wimbledon Championships 2025.

In addition to the core FRASERS and Sports Direct offerings, the location incorporates dedicated spaces for USC and GAME. USC targets customers looking for branded denim and urban fashion, while GAME continues its role as a retailer of consoles, games, and accessories.
The development comes after Frasers Group acquired the Overgate Shopping Centre in 2023, signalling its continued investment in high street retail amid wider industry transformation.
