Lululemon has officially opened its first store in Italy, located at Vittorio Emanuele II 24/28 in Milan’s renowned shopping district. The opening marks a further step in the brand’s international expansion as it brings its athletic apparel and accessories to the Italian market.

The store spans approximately 5,700 sq ft across two floors, with dedicated sections for women’s and men’s collections. These are designed to support a range of activities including yoga, running, training, tennis, and golf, combining technical performance with contemporary style.

Paying tribute to Italy’s strong design traditions, the store incorporates a locally inspired architectural approach, blending traditional elements with modern materials. A key feature is the lululemon Glide sculptural façade – a custom 3D-printed installation modelled on the pattern of the brand’s Define Jacket. The flowing design is intended to mirror the movement and form of fabric across the storefront.

The Milan store supports lululemon’s omni-channel strategy by offering guests full access to its product range via the Endless Aisle Back‑Room system, allowing items not stocked on-site to be ordered in-store. International visitors can also take advantage of Global Blue Tax‑Free Shopping, enhancing the store’s appeal in a high-footfall tourist area.

By blending technical apparel with locally influenced architecture and a personalised shopping environment, the brand aims to offer more than just products – instead creating a space that supports wellbeing, movement and lifestyle in equal measure. The Milan opening serves not only as a strategic retail expansion but also as a brand statement on design, functionality, and international reach.
