The Edinburgh opening marks PURESEOUL’s first move into Scotland and continues its UK store expansion, bringing more than 1,000 Korean beauty products to St James Quarter.
Korean beauty retailer PURESEOUL has opened its first store in Scotland at St James Quarter in Edinburgh, continuing the brand’s expansion of its physical retail estate across the UK.
The Edinburgh store carries more than 1,000 K-beauty products, with brands including Medicube, Torriden and Beauty of Joseon forming part of the assortment.
K-Beauty Growth Supports Expansion
The opening comes amid wider growth in consumer interest in Korean beauty products in the UK. When PURESEOUL’s East Midlands expansion at Highcross Leicester was announced in April, the centre cited figures showing searches for Korean skincare had increased by 125% during the second half of 2025, with average demand nearly 35% higher than the wider skincare category.
PURESEOUL has continued to extend its physical presence as interest in Korean skincare and beauty moves beyond online discovery and into dedicated bricks-and-mortar retail locations.
Opening Day At St James Quarter
Opening-day access at the Edinburgh store ran from 10.30am until noon for ticket holders, before the store opened to the general public from noon.
Launch activity included a lucky dip, with customers spending £10 or more given the opportunity to win a prize.

“We’re incredibly excited to be bringing PURESEOUL to Edinburgh and opening our first store in Scotland. The demand for PURESEOUL continues to grow across the UK, and St James Quarter is the perfect location for us to introduce even more customers to our exclusively curated Korean beauty offering. Edinburgh has been one of our most requested locations for some time, so opening here feels like a natural next step for us. We’re looking forward to becoming part of the local community and welcoming both new and existing customers through our doors.”
