Topshop and Topman are set to re-enter physical retail in the UK through a collaborative in-store residency with Liberty, launching later this month. The new retail space will be housed within Liberty’s historic Tudor building, located near Topshop’s former Oxford Street flagship.
This retail venture represents a pivotal development for both entities. For Topshop and Topman, the initiative marks a renewed presence on the high street following a period of digital focus. For Liberty, the move supports its broader strategy to foster cultural relevance and spotlight emerging talent within the fashion sector.

“Through Topshop and Topman, we want to bring the best of fashion to everyone,” said Michelle Wilson, Managing Director at Topshop. “We’re thrilled to return to UK stores through Liberty – a brand that shares our passion for creativity, nurturing talent and pushing boundaries. This launch is about reconnecting with our community in real life, and we’re excited to kick things off with a full Liberty atrium takeover.”
The new in-store experience will offer a curated edit that reflects the evolving aesthetic of both brands. It will feature a range of pieces from directional tailoring and statement dresses to denim staples and everyday essentials, all available exclusively at the Liberty location. Customers can also expect a series of immersive installations throughout the store’s central atrium.

“At Liberty, we’ve always been about discovery – curating the most exciting talent and ideas under one roof,” said Lydia King, Buying and Merchandising Director at Liberty. “Partnering with Topshop and Topman brings a new layer to that experience: it’s a meeting point of two iconic British names, both with deep roots in London style, a stone’s throw from Oxford Street. This residency celebrates the city’s creativity and energy, offering our customers something unexpected. Which we love to do.”
The partnership is being positioned not merely as a retail return but as a broader celebration of contemporary British fashion, individuality, and creative expression. Visual elements within the Liberty space will reflect this ethos, underscoring the shared values between the two fashion houses.
The launch of this exclusive in-store range is scheduled for 28 August.
