Lululemon has partnered with Trafford Centre to launch a branded pop-up padel court, marking the opening of the activewear brand’s significantly larger store at the centre.

Running for two weeks in July, the lululemon x Trafford Centre court occupies part of the destination’s outdoor space and adds a temporary leisure activity to its retail offer. The activation is intended to attract visitors, encourage longer stays and support repeat visits during the store launch period.

The partnership brings together sport, wellbeing and community activity, reflecting a focus by both organisations on experiences beyond conventional retail. It also responds to growing consumer interest in active, experience-led leisure.

The partners identified Manchester as one of the UK’s strongest athleisure markets outside London and Greater Manchester as one of the country’s fastest-growing padel markets.

The temporary court forms part of the activity surrounding lululemon’s expanded Trafford Centre store and will remain in place for the limited July run.
