Apple has trebled its presence at Touchwood shopping centre in Solihull with the launch of a newly expanded store. The technology brand opened its new 13,750 sq ft space on Saturday, 26 July 2025, in the Crescent Arcade, directly opposite its former location within the centre.
The latest store reflects Apple’s ongoing commitment to physical retail and incorporates updated design features and retail concepts consistent with the brand’s global format. This new space represents a major upgrade from its original store, which first opened at Touchwood in September 2007.
The decision to invest further in Touchwood reflects the strong performance Apple has achieved at the centre. The destination draws from a wide, affluent catchment and continues to experience solid trading across categories.
The opening follows Touchwood’s ongoing transformation under the ownership of The Ardent Companies, which acquired the scheme in 2021. Since then, Ardent has prioritised tenant diversification and enhanced the centre’s customer experience by attracting new brands and leisure operators.

The centre’s asset management is overseen by Sovereign Centros from CBRE, while leasing is managed by Cushman & Wakefield and Knight Frank.
