FatFace is set to open a new store at Derbion after agreeing a five-year lease for a 1,830 sq ft unit at the shopping centre.
The lifestyle clothing and accessories retailer, which serves men and women and operates an international digital business, will arrive at the East Midlands destination in the coming months.

Strengthening the fashion line-up
The new store will further expand Derbion’s fashion offer, joining recent additions including Crew Clothing, Victoria’s Secret, Seasalt, Luke 1977 and Castore. The signing also follows the announcement that Primark will relocate to the centre in 2027.
Active asset management and occupier investment
Alongside new brand arrivals, Derbion has completed 11 lease renewals, regears, refits and relocations over the past year. Existing occupiers including Footlocker, Moss, H Samuel, Pandora and AllSaints have all invested in their stores at the centre.
“We are delighted to welcome FatFace as the latest addition to our diverse fashion offering. FatFace is the latest example of how our leasing strategy is transforming Derbion as we secure new retail brands to broaden our offer to customers.
Beth McDonald, Managing Director, Derbion
“FatFace will be a popular addition among our shoppers and helps enhance our reputation as the East Midlands’ home of big name fashion brands.”
“Derbion is an exciting destination and we’re pleased to be opening a new FatFace store in the centre in the coming months. The new store will give us the opportunity to showcase our full lifestyle collection and connect with customers in Derby and the surrounding area”.
Karen Johnston, Stores Director, FatFace
The signing forms part of Derbion’s wider strategy to optimise its retail mix, combining the retention of established occupiers with the introduction of new brands to strengthen its position within the regional retail landscape.
