Space NK has opened its regional flagship at Birmingham’s Bullring, marking the brand’s largest store outside the capital. Spanning over 4,356 square feet, the new space is situated on the Upper-Level East, adjacent to brands including AllSaints, Coach, Dr Martens, and Selfridges.
The store introduces a dedicated consultation area designed for makeup and skincare guidance, complemented by interactive ‘play tables’ where customers can test a wide range of products. This new opening brings a broader selection of premium beauty names to Birmingham, including several makeup brands that were previously exclusive to the company’s London Oxford Circus flagship.

Designed to offer a relaxed and welcoming environment, the Bullring location features copper detailing, soft furnishings, and light wood finishes, aiming to provide a calm yet modern customer experience.
Hammerson, the property group behind Bullring, noted that beauty remains a key category for the destination. The sector continues to see strong demand, drawing a series of global and regional openings to the location. Space NK joins existing names such as Sephora, which houses its largest facade in Europe at Bullring, alongside recent additions including PURESEOUL, which opened its Midlands debut earlier this year, and long-established operators Kiko Milano and MAC.

Paul O’Brien, Director of Leasing & Commercialisation at Hammerson, stated: “Space NK is the latest in a series of major beauty milestones for Bullring. The opening represents a significant moment for both the destination and the region’s beauty sector, and further reinforces Bullring’s position as one of the leading retail destinations in the UK. The addition reflects our ongoing strategy to attract best in class occupiers, curate a diverse and exciting brand mix that resonates with visitors and delivers long-term quality.”
Space NK CEO Andy Lightfoot added: “This year has seen exciting growth for Space NK, from our Oxford Street flagship to new locations in Chelmsford, Leicester, and Kent. As our largest space outside of London, this regional flagship at Bullring is undoubtedly one of the most significant openings to date. We’re thrilled to welcome our Birmingham customers and bring our enhanced store experience to the Midlands.”

The Bullring continues to play a central role in Birmingham’s retail landscape. Operated by Hammerson, the centre hosts a mix of retail, dining, and lifestyle offerings, and welcomes around 170 million visitors across its portfolio annually.
