Boux Avenue has confirmed the signing of a 10-year lease at Manchester Arndale, marking the latest step in its UK expansion. The lingerie and nightwear brand will open a 2,765 sq ft store on New Cannon Street later this summer.
The unit is located near the soon-to-open Sephora store, placing Boux Avenue in a high-footfall area of the centre. The space will feature the brand’s full in-store experience, including expert bra fittings, luxury fitting rooms, and a wide product selection of lingerie, swimwear, and nightwear designed in London.

The Manchester opening will expand Boux Avenue’s UK footprint, which currently includes more than 25 stores nationwide. Its arrival follows recent additions to the city’s retail scene, including Alo Yoga, Arc’teryx, and Represent.
Zoe Price-Smith, Chief Design & Product Officer at Boux Avenue, said:
“Shoppers in the North West are justifiably famous for their sense of style, so we’re delighted to be bringing Boux Avenue’s signature brand of ‘cute meets sexy’ lingerie, swimwear and nightwear to Manchester Arndale and can’t wait to open our doors later this Summer.”
The store’s design and offer aim to blend high street accessibility with a boutique-style retail environment. The brand is known for its inclusive sizing and emphasis on comfort and fit across all product lines, including its popular strapless and push-up bras.
Located in the heart of the city centre, Manchester Arndale is the most visited shopping destination in the North West. Boux Avenue’s arrival is part of an ongoing effort to diversify the fashion and lifestyle offer at the centre.
Steve Gray, Head of European Retail Asset Management at Global Mutual, commented:
“Boux Avenue is a standout name in the UK retail landscape, and we’re thrilled to welcome them to Manchester Arndale for their latest location. Their arrival will further enhance our varied mix of fashion and lifestyle brands, and we know our visitors will welcome the addition.”
Letting agents Metis Real Estate and Time Retail Partners continue to manage Manchester Arndale’s retail leasing strategy.
