British kitchen brand HUSK has opened its second showroom in Bristol, reinforcing its focus on sustainable design, local craftsmanship and accessible customisation. The new site is located on Christmas Steps, in the heart of the city centre, and showcases a blend of traditional joinery and contemporary design principles.
The expansion marks a significant milestone for the brand, which was established to offer an alternative to high end bespoke joinery by enhancing cabinetry from suppliers such as IKEA and Howdens. HUSK delivers a bespoke finish through made to order doors, panels, worktops and hardware, while keeping price points within reach.

“From day one, the goal was to make beautifully made kitchens more accessible,” said co founder Dave Young. “Clients plan the layout with a mainstream supplier, then we craft the finishing elements that deliver the quality, detail and individuality of a bespoke kitchen.”
The new Christmas Steps location also accommodates office and meeting spaces for the growing design and operations teams. It complements HUSK’s existing Bristol workshop, situated just a few miles away, where all joinery continues to be made in the UK.
Inside the new showroom, visitors will find a reflection of the brand’s core design ethos: flexible customisation, considered detailing and a commitment to British craftsmanship. The display includes shaker style kitchens, locally sourced hardwood doors, and minimalist finishes, all brought together with bold, tactile hardware choices.

Partnerships play a key role in shaping the brand’s evolving collections. In 2024, HUSK collaborated with Another Country, the British furniture brand known for its natural materials and pared back style. Together, they developed a refined take on HUSK’s V Groove kitchen, combining earthy tones and crafted elements with influences drawn from both brands’ West Country roots. The collaboration is now showcased in the new Bristol showroom.

Later this year, HUSK will also debut a collaboration with RO Projects, a Bristol based design studio founded by Rosa Roig Fiol and Anna Kidel. Built on shared principles of provenance, transparency and local making, the new collection introduces timeless forms with vibrant colour accents.
All of HUSK’s kitchen fronts are made by hand in its Bristol workshop, where skilled makers produce each project to order. This approach reduces waste and ensures thoughtful material selection throughout. Timber is sourced exclusively from responsible suppliers, with FSC certified wood used as standard. Water based finishes are employed across all ranges, and any by products are recycled or reused wherever possible.
“Sustainability is not a bolt on for us. It is embedded in every stage of our process,” Young added.

HUSK encourages a collaborative design experience, inviting clients to explore materials and design options in person. The result is kitchens that are tailored, carefully considered and built to last, made locally with a smaller environmental footprint.
